Idridgehay - A Derbyshire Midland Railway Branch Station

After much deliberating I'm finally embarking on building the layout I always promised myself I'd do - one of the prettiest intermediate branch line railway stations there is, Idridgehay ("eye-dri-jay") on the Duffield to Wirksworth branch line set in lovely Derbyshire countryside.

Here is where I'll be sharing my random thoughts and musings as I commence with the serious task of planning the layout's construction and - eventually - starting to put some track down.

I've a box of Peco's new bullhead flexible track, some associated 'green label' points and some first class historical resources and contacts so buckle up and enjoy the ride!
