Welcome to this Blog, I hope you enjoy reading. Im TeamTraction from the group Traction Studios, Who develop 3rd party DLC for the PC game Train Simulator 2021. We have been developing adding for little over a year now, and have plans for over 20 new pieces of DLC for this game, With the majority being free to purchase. 

This is an insight to how we develop routes for this game. I aim to showcase the process from start to release, With the end goal being that you can try out the route I am currently developing. 

 

The route network in question is dubbed the "Jazz Lines", A recreation of the various suburban lines starting from London Liverpool Street station, set in the 1950s. The build process will involve taking a currently commercially available route, The Great Eastern Mainline, and "Backdating" it to the 1950s (It is currently modelled Circa 2012). Then I will be building new lines from scratch going to such destinations as Enfield, Ongar, Palace gates and Chingford.
