So the magnet moves under the board and pulls the car along? What moves the magnet?

a loco if you look at the picture theres a magnet on a small loco under ther the layout which moves the magnet then moving the car

Sorry, didn't see the magnet on the loco. The only problem I can see is the junctions, you cant make the loco do 90 degree turns!

Possibly junctions but hills Bridges you could have a set of springy tubes that rise to the height of the underside of the hill and bridges i may have to use a set of electro magnets.

not quite how do you not see the train whilst seing the train

I have to admit that I struggle to get 1 reliable track layout on the top of the board, the idea of getting two working properly makes this system impossible for me! Did you see the post on moving cyclists just up the list fom yours?
