Right folks, here's the latest happenings on Calshot.

The rest of the narrow gauge line has been layed and infilled.

Now here is the state of play at the moment. Instead of the line going into the castle, I felt that there wasn't enough rom there so I decided to split the NG line round each side of the castle as you can see. Tomorrow I will be sanding it down and then scribing it to represent concrete slabs. Then I might try the plastikote spray (as you can see by the goods platform and hangar (that tan colour)). You can also see that the lifeboat station has been moved away from the slipway. This is because I am not sure I want it where it is because it doesn't quite fit in right and upsets the balance of the layout.

Another area I am not happy with as yet is the sea here and the sea wall by the lifeboat station in this picture. I'm thinking about doing most of it as a sand bar (which will also hide the join in the two sea colours)

Finally, I am not sure what to put next to the goods platform to the right and behind the castle - any ideas?
