Fencing Lessons
No I have not taken up a new hobby but have learned a lesson today (two actually and it is only 11 o'clock). Both of these are lessons are on the perils of internet shopping. First lesson (and the one most appropriate to this site), is not to trust the pictures on the Scale Link site. The fencing arrived very promptly, which is good but my excitement didn't last long as soon found that the etch contained four different types of fence panel - a fact not obvious from the tiny picture on the site. To fence the front of my building would thus take five packets and £60! I shall have to send back and buy a load of brass instead and do it the hard (but satisfying way).
I finished painting the frontage last night, although there is much weathering to be done
I will hold off on most of the bedding in weathering as with all the other items though and have a mammoth airbrush and weathering powders session when all finished.
The interior on the upper floor is getting there now although still much to do downstairs.
Oh, other lesson was the perils of getting your groceries delivered and the packing of damaged bottles that empty their stick contents all over the kitchen floor that I spent ages washing yesterday - I feel an angry email coming on!
