First foray into metal kits and 0 gauge - Part 3

Edit: My goodness my grammer was bad when I first posted this.

More progress, and some problems. I started out on Thursday night by attaching the riveted plates for the deck reinforcing plates. It didn't go too well, at first I managed to loose one of them (which is still managing to hide from me despite repeated searches on the bench and on the floor) and then I just couldn't get the finish as good as I wanted.

Friday turned out to be a much better day, I got all the load tie down rings (apart from the two outer ones on each end) done, the brake gear rod in either end and the coupling reinforcing plates attached. One of the rings on the deck went a bit wrong, as I used a bit too much solder underneath the deck and it managed to get through to the ring on the other side, locking it in place. Quickly rectified so no big issue.

Here's progress, in all its horror, starting with both ends;
