Model Trains in Petersfield
Our club held an open day last Sunday in Petersfield, as part of our 50th anniversary. We provided some of our usual suspects; which does give a good indication of the wide variety of interests covered by the club. Below are a few pictures:
Ehrwald - German DCC N Gauge
Hawkhurst - SR/BR(S)
Kanjiyama - Japanese N Gauge
Module board - UK N Gauge
South River Terminal - US DCC H0
The Wipers, Fish-hook and Menin Railway - WW1 Sn2
Demonstration Table - all sorts of chuffs, clangs and whistles coming from here...
Also present, but not pictured, was Martin Hill (our former Chairman) providing a figure-painting demonstration. Martin is known to a few on here as the owner of Falcon Figures, and is a regular sight at shows in the South of England.
Also, as some may have seen from the Yamanouchi Oshika thread, this layout is no more; it has been sold (minus the Japanese structures), and off to pastures new in Yorkshire. This means that the club currently only have the one layout - Fredrichstrasse.
