H Class Finished
Finished might a actually be a bit of an over statement but it is certainly as far as I can take it right no. While I muse on what to do with the back scene and fascia (my optimism of getting them finished yesterday was completely unfounded!), I though this would be a nice diversion. After finding my bottle of obviously under used mascol solid I decided that spraying was not an option so the camouflage is hand painted in acrylics. My Peter Spoerer Easi Liner pen had its first outing after being bought on impulse at Warley last year and seems to be easier to use than my old Bob Moore version. This was for the black demarcation lines between the splodges by the way. So here it is all pristine;
But it didn't take too long to turn it into this;
The good thing about photographing models is that it shows up all the 'could do better' areas very nicely and one of those is certainly the water splash marks but easy enough to sort out.
All it needs now is for the new transfers to arrive and me to set up a production line to make up about a dozen pairs of bogies.
And here is one I made earlier. Am sure this one did have bogies but they seem to have been stolen for something else.
