Very good Baz. I think the main giveaway is the lining. Hornby's BR passenger lining always looks very dull and the black seems to look more prominent than the orange.

Could be John... the green is slightly "duller" on the Hornby one.

I must say the Kit built one does also weigh more than the Hornby one and it has a portescap fitted so it should pull  more but I haven't got a EM layout to try it on..

It would look even better if I had made sure the fall plate was down on the Comet kit built example!
