Must have a high crime rate there, judging from what look like burglar alarms on your back-scene ;)

Whilst I don't know too much about this region you seem to have captured something in your modelling of a rural backwater and keenly observed idyll.

Gets my vote

Well modelled and excellent photographs.

Looking forward to the next instalment.

Happy modelling :)

I agree with bgman : these scenes have great atmosphere and you have put a lot of excellent detail into your models. It looks as though you have enjoyed finding the best viewpoints for photography as well.  More please :)

Nice layout! The one thing you seem to have missed out is the church - I got married there almost 25 years ago!

Really lovely looking layout, the stock's rather nice too! Looking forward to seeing more about it soon.

You want a photo of it, David? - it's sitting there in a corner of the layout right next to St Bartholomew's Halt!  I can tell you the names on most of the headstones in the graveyard too if you really want me too - all authentic on the layout ....but no-one after 1880 out of respect for the locals.

Have modelled The Jolly Sailor too - that's just off the end of the station platform on Quay Street.

TBG - As someone asked in the J15 thread - where's the 'smart-ass' key when you need it?

If you can get me a picture of the back end of Wickham Market without the burglar alarms - I'll use it!

Mind you - you are quite right - I really must touch them out.

You could say they're nest boxes and possibly get away with it. Fortunately I haven't spotted any satellite dishes :D

Great work though

Ha Ha - I checked for those (and also painted out a fairly modern 5cwt van in one place).....but never even thought about the burglar alarms!  Next time I have an appropriate colour on the paint brush, I'll touch them out.
