No I don't I have found if you try and leave a mortar course the bricks look to far apart so I put them just touching. The edges of the bricks have a slight radius so you get the impression of a gap. I will post pics to show what I mean when I het back home next week. I will say that doing bricks this way is time consuming but very rewarding
