The layout is now back in one piece with a full set of plugin signals. A bit of evening sunshine tempted me to play about with the camera. An artist might call it atmospheric.....

I love it! Well done, it looks very good indeed! I'm a long way off being able to do that on my own layout project but it's nice to be inspired.

In the meantime which of those jumbos has a portescap motor and which has a CD drawer motor .....

What a delight Dave. I've watched it several times with a smile on my face. An 0-6-0 with pregrouping stock will always get my attention, but when it's done to this standard and glides slowly past like this - wonderful!

 

It's a good angle too. Once the backscene is done you'll be able to fool people with some very convincing black and white footage I think.

Hooray! You're the first person I know who also uses the little round motors from a CD player drawer. They're great little motors. I crammed one into my Jenny Lind tender and concocted a spur gear drive with the other gears that came out of an old Apple computer. Well done, I'd love to see some pics of that one please?
