Stock

I've done all I can on Leahurst Road, for the time being anyway. 3rd rail has been added and it looks very southern now, I am very pleased with how well it looks :)

Between now and when I can start on the ''Addiscombe project'' I have little to do, and this has led me into a decision to focus more on the rolling stock side of things. This includes working on the current fleet and also expanding it with locomotives, multiple units along with carriages and wagons.

I have recently purchased another Hornby 466, it is the original release R2001 and for its age it does look very well looked after. It needs work to it and desperately needs new bogies and some detailing parts. Also it needs a new motor as well as 466031 so both are out of action. Minor cosmetic work has been done, removing the printed on destination displays as they will never be on the Cannon Street services ;)

I'm also looking at the Hornby 4VEP and even a Bratchell 456 but neither are on the cheap side, even more so with the 456 as it is a lot of money for an unpowered kit. Decisions decisions...
