Well its a day old. Really just a bit of fun, and it helps me to learn about all this video malarky.

Brilliant stuff giving a nice period feel we need more please,

I wonder what would happen if you jiggled a short length of black thread in front of the camera as long as it was on fixed focus that is while you filmed it might give that effect you see on old films..... I'm being silly now aren't I sorry

Thanks for that bit of time travel Dave. A real pleasure to watch.

I was going to say some light music would have been nice, but actually the lack of it adds to the realism of old film.

Pointing man is very persistent, I bet none of the big guys in the gym of today would be able to hold up their arm for that long :-)

Heh, that might work Steve, I have a "old film " filter for iMovie, but it is too grainy.

Well mikkel, he has been holding his arm up since he was airfix before Dapol. Mind you, if he was rtr mazak his arm would have fallen off by now. Time to dig out some of the Andy Stadden figures I think...

Oh, and I fixed the wheels on the cask wagon. Really I notice stuff in photos and videos I miss when just playing trains. So this whole blogging thing is a useful process, stops me getting lazy and sharpens up my modelling.

Just watched this again. It still holds up but also illustrates how the surroundings have developed since then. And how much more convincing the current Andrew Stadden figures are.
