More scenery added to Legge Lane over the past few days, including track painting, ballasting, ground cover and now an embankment.

This track is the entry/exit road to the rest of the railway.

A shot of the latest loco, destined for Penmaenpool, sitting on a short spur off the turntable. The two adjacent roads access the engine shed and inspection pits and are suitably ballasted with cinders and real coal dust.

Nice work there, can't beat the real stuff!

 

Can I ask, as a newbe to 7mm, are you aware of any GW 7mm turntable kits on the market as I may consider one for my proposals.

What used to be Metalsmiths, now Midland Railway Centre, make a GWR turntable kit which, if it is like their R&R kit I built, is a good buy to anyone with some kit experience.  Dave Smith may have a waiting list as he has been working part time recently.  Give him a call, Paul
