It has certainly been a while since I've posted anything on here and it has been even longer since I've done any railway modelling! I will need to make a change to that soon...

A big part of the reason for the lack of railway modelling is that I've been away on signalling training and I'm only home at weekends. Signalling school has been a huge eye opener on how the railway works from behind the scenes. It has been tough being away from home but it is short term pain for long term gain and I'm happy that I made the the decision to go into signalling as a career .

Another reason is that we've moved again after 3 months living in Lincoln. Unfortunately the area of Lincoln we moved to had a serious crime problem, most notably burglaries and we had a few attempted in our house and garden. Enough was enough and we decided to move out of Lincoln and found a nice house in Market Rasen. We are more suited for living in a town than a city and Lincoln has a really ugly side to it.

Upside is, with the new house I now have a much bigger ''hobby room''! Also I have plans to get on with starting the next layout in the new year. Until then, the fleet is waiting to run again!
