The detail on the wall adjacent to the shed building has been omitted because it needs to be a flush fit.

I need to find a way of making the ventilation slats in the clerestory roof of the sand dryer and have decided to make a seperate unit out of brass.... further posting to follow.

That looks amazing.

I have to say that every time I see another in your series of posts, I rush to open it to see what you have done next.

Any more pics of the real thing?

Great work, you're making excellent progress! I'm really looking forward to seeing it in the flesh in the new year.

Out of interest, why does the wall with the access door have none of the additional brick layers currently present?

Keep up the good work, looks like i'm going to have to get on and finish some engines to help populate that roundhouse!

Ah, Kempenfelt, you didn't read Barrowroad's posts properly, did you?

Second last line: "The detail on the wall adjacent to the shed building has been omitted because it needs to be a flush fit."

Alcazar, you've caught me out! I was so impressed by the photo's that I neglected to read the post properly. I suspected that was the reason lack of detail, thanks for the explanation.
