Another Armour Build: Tamiya 1/48th Russian Heavy Tank JS-2

Time for another piece of Armour - this time it's Russian (albeit in Polish Markings)...

The build - fairly straightforward - it's Tamiya after all ;)

Lower hull and tracks painted (and fitted). Important to follow the instructions at this point as the tracks are different on either side - due to offset road wheels.

About 4 colours, plus Tamiya Weathering Powders ;)

The Tamiya 1/48th Tanks have ballast weights in the hull and that's what they are ;)

Thanks for that, all is explained!  Talking of weights,  I've now got a Revell Shak MR3 (not yet started but instructions read!) and your suggestion about doubling their suggested nose weight will be very useful.
