Parkside RCH 5 Plank 12 Ton Wagon - Done?

Whilst waiting for the deltics to turn blue I've spent some time on the "loco coal" wagon for Summat Colliery. As I said before I've followed David Spencer's article in issue 06 of Hornby Mag (loosly) and have arrived at this:

Real coal over a lot of lead make it a heavy little wagon now, so should run well at Warwick/Nottm/Mansfield shows.

I think a little bounce sprayed weather black on the underpinnings should finish it off :D

Who would have thought that I would have heaped so much attention on a WAGON

Thanks marc, especially from the builder of MY HM layout of the year ;)

Only this one, as in 1958 most PO wagons were dust. This sad specimen remained in use at Summat Colliery to ferry loco coal from the screens to the loading stage - gives us operators something different to do at shows.......

I've added the Kirby Uncouplers last night, so just a quick waft of Weather Black and it will be ready for Warwick

And no, I'm not doing any more
