I sat looking at the wall last night and realised a fundamental omission, I had forgot to do the mortar lines !!! Tried the paint on wipe off plan of quick lines, but as the stone has quite a lot of depressions I ended up with "mortar" residue on the stone face, not very professional from a builder ! So ended up painting them on by hand with a tiny brush.

Here one side is done one isn't, I guess if you cant tell which is which I wasted my time !
