Got to say the lighting (and the backscene) on the first film are particularly good.. If ever a layout gave you a feeling that you might need an umbrella in a minute or two, there it is...

excellent!

Another nice selection there David - and Ring Road shows them off very well - few layouts capture a modern atmosphere as well as yours does!

How does that 58 go - is it a good runner? and a quiet one (difficult to gauge on the video as you've got what I like - lots of trains running :) !) ?

Great videos as always David, Any chance of seeing the 58 on its own, I would be very interested to see how noisy it is etc?

Thanks all, I'll shoot the 58 on its own later and post a shot. Its noisy, not terrible, but a bit lik some of the better Poole Farish stuff, a class 31 perhaps. Its very low geared, so does make a lot of noise for its speed. I have a gaugemaster controller and it has to run at about 60% to give a decent slow speed for the main line.

My only worry so far is points, its not too keen on a set of points in the fiddle yard, when all the other locos are okay.
