A Christmas Blog
Good Afternoon and Compliments of the Season to y'all
I thought I'd start a "Blog" to save RMweb getting jammed up with random rubbish from my laptop; despite my best intentions Life keeps getting in the way of actually doing things (other than spending too much on small trains).
Maybe if anyone is found reading this it will make me want to progress a bit and being a Blog it can be a bit more random than a sensible thread about making an environment for small trains to show their fancy footwork....
Currently under conception / construction / creation at various stages are a number of layouts - Im playing "catch-up" having had either no time or money for quite some time I've now got enough of both for at least a few weeks until the next 1:1 scale project materialises and swallows both in huge quantities.
We have, for your delectation / derision.....
A 4mm OO gauge WR earlyish banger Blue BLT that is unashamedly proprietory based...Its that "doing what you couldn't afford to do as a kid" sortta thing.
Although its a BLT, its not the end of the line....all my trainsets have a "line to somewhere else" to justify running things that just don't appear at a typical BLT...
A 2mm N gauge bit of Cornwall, China Clay natch, and a few other wagons and stuff that may or may not have run in Cornwall in the last 15 years -This is the railway i worked on so it may only have a passing resembalance to reality; not so much what i remember as what i wanted to remember...
Something in 2mm FS that is increasingly likely to look like it might be Banger Blue and not too far from Sheffield/Derbyshire....Maybe where the cement trains for the layout above originate??
There may also be totally random bits of EM in Sheffield (well north-ish west of there....) and a smattering of 7mm scale eventually followed by a long long term plan to do summat P4 again in Sheffield
