Chris_nicole 53 Posted February 17, 2011 Hi Missy, Did you keep the funky foam road bed, or have you taken a different approach this time ? Regards, Chris (Black Hat) Link to comment

RMweb Gold bcnPete 4,965 Posted February 17, 2011 RMweb Gold Looks good in that low level shot. When you decided to rip up areas of track, did you consider using easitrac for any of the plain track areas or did you prefer to keep with pcb/code 40 for overall consistency? Just curious to know really... Link to comment
-missy- 3,834 Posted February 17, 2011 Hi Pete I have continued to use PCB/code 40 for consistency. Although I have some easitrac here I thought it would look odd on the layout without changing everything. Missy Link to comment
Tony Simms 269 Posted February 17, 2011 Looks very nice! The trains should run a treat on that. Link to comment
-missy- 3,834 Posted February 17, 2011 Thank you Tony Working on the track and looking back at what I made the first time has been a real eye opener. Looking at it now the track is/was shocking in places and I am not surprised things are/were having trouble running on it. In a weird way its kind of reassuring as I can now see how much my modelling skills have improved since I made the track a few years ago. Hopefully I wont end up doing this again as my skills get better as I get older and more experienced. Missy Link to comment
scanman 728 Posted February 17, 2011 Trouble is, by the time you've got all the experience you need, you are too old to remember how you did it! Regs Ian Link to comment

You've inspired me to go back and sort out my track work this weekend. One siding has been ripped up and the 3 way is half way to being a reliable runner. Thank you! Link to comment
RMweb Gold Donw 18,141 Posted February 18, 2011 RMweb Gold Your a quick worker Missy. If it wasn't for the gloss on the track that photo could be the real work in progress. Looks good. Don Link to comment
