Graft and Italian food.

Hello again.

Nobody told me that installing motors and wiring them up was going to be such hard work!

I have spent a considerable time this week ( including another few hours this afternoon) doing exactly that.

In addition, I've been adding droppers for planned isolated sections - this is going to be DC - not quite "ready" for DCC myself yet, haha!

I would post a picture, but I don't think you would be very impressed with my wiring - it is looking like a box of spaghetti now, to be honest...make way with that duck tape!

The main thing is if it is all going to work, and I won't know that until I fire it up sometime soon, as I don't want to see another solder joint nor breathe in lead fumes for a few days.

A few minor disasters en route, it has to be said, but hardly dare use the word in such a frivolous way, given those horrendous pictures coming out from Japan.

Regards,

Chris

I am sure it will be 'alright on the night' Chris. As long as you can identify the ends of the wire it doesn't matter what it looks like.

Hi Don,

Well I ran out of red wire so I have a lot of black wire with masking tape markers attached for a start!

Thanks for your help on the other matter by the way ( 9V supply).

Do I understand you are into 7mm?

Do you have a website?

Cheers,

Chris
