My latest weathering escapade, one of the brilliant Farish Seacows. The enlargement of the photo is a bit cruel - but after all, this model is only about 3 inches long! I need to touch up the wheels for a start. A very enjoyable evenings work though.

Very nice work. The rust patches on the handrails are particularly good, how was it done?

Sweet. Looks better on here than it did on me phone! The most important thing this has reminded me is that I must weather my couplings!

Keep the pics rolling boss!

Cheers gents!

Hi Bryn, to do the paint chipping I use a small sponge to dab on colour, usually a mix of Citadel Chardon Granite (a dark grey) and Scorched Brown (a sort of chocolate colour). If the effect looks a bit heavy, you can use ther same technique to restore some of the white paint.

Hope that helps!

What a great video, cheers. And perfectly timed, I've got some minerals on the work bench that will benefit from this.
