That's very nice sir, something I've thought about having a crack at myself, and this thread isn't helping me save money! I'm not sure which livery I'd go for, but the black looks very smart indeed, especially the subtle weathering on the top of the casing. Very smart indeed.

it was going to be standard gloss black ex works but changed it halfway through as id run out of gloss black so did the weathered effect using layers of matt & satin paint to give the effect of weathering its been difficult to find decent pics of this loco but the ones im working from even the colour one show it very mucky on top of the casing and the same on the tender,I will be building another B17 streamlined loco kit once chris has sent it currently he`s redoing the molds! so expected to be another 2 weeks,so hopefully you may soon see another version of these wonderful loco`s! I may be tempted to do a green one! although may just do another black but in NE war time livery will have too see.
