Followers 0 A bit of an update on the waggon today, end ribs, hinges, door handles and brake wheels have been added. Once the glue is dry I can get on with forming the roof, and then painting can begin. Thanks for looking J
RMweb Gold Mikkel 24,472 Posted December 5, 2009 RMweb Gold Hi Jaymz, that's looking good. I always enjoy watching scratchbuilding projects like these develop. Not being an NG modeller, is this a freelance design or based on a prototype? Link to comment
JaymzHatstand 1,119 Posted December 5, 2009 It's totally freelance. I've had a look at a couple of other vans just to get an idea of how they are constructed and such, but it's all of my own creation! Using the Peco chassis makes it nice and easy, as that's usually the hard work. This way I just have to cobble together a body and as long as it's mounted centrally, it should run fine.
