The customer sent modified couplings to fit to this coach he had removed the bar & hook from the old type honby coupling then put a new bar on one which the hook on the next carrage will not hook under so that when this hook goes over a ramp the hook will release from the modified bar

I suppose a DCC motorised Slip coach would be handy so it can be run as far as is required and brought slowly to a stand in the station. Neat work there Moz.

I was amazed when i found out that these went into the sixties. I thought they'd be deemed unsafe after churchward times.

Lovely looking coach, must try some more Comet kits.
