Playing Trains

Bryn

Too much track tweaking can drive a person insane. Now for an image intermission.

I know it doesn't look very different from the images from last November, but it now runs and basic shunting is now possible smile.gif

That looks really good Bryn.

I hope it has helped keep the enthusiasm going.

That's looking great, Bryn. It's amazing how therapeutic trundling a train up and down a bit of track can be.

If the track tweaking hasn't driven you mad, the ballasting will!

Just put it down to extended track and stock testing. Always check it runs well before ballasting! If it runs as good as it looks it will be fine.

Yeah, looking great Bryn! Better have it ready so we can play trains in June for the sequel! :P B) You may also want to water proof it just incase we take it down the pub! :D

Thank you all for the positive words, it means a lot.

Now the running qualities are getting somewhere near, I can now finally start thinking about scenics and fiddle yard matters. Even ballasting seems like a welcome change!

Kempenfelt - I'll fit some beer mats before June ;)

Bryn, I do like the idea of cup/keg holders, but as they somewhat dwarf that O gauge layout what are they going to do to Colwyn!!!! :D
