    The Erith Model Railway Society’s annual January show, one of South East England’s largest shows (and probably Kent’s largest by stand numbers), will return to The Longfield Academy for our 4th show there.
     
    The show will encompass up to 35 layouts, extensive trade and society support, demonstrators (including the club's Foxley Service Centre - Loco Diagnostics & Cleaning Service), static exhibits & charity raffle, making over 100 stands in total.

    The venue can be reached by Longfield railway station (5-10 minute walk away), Arriva bus services 423 (from Dartford and Bluewater) and 489 (from Gravesend), and Go-Coach bus services 433 (Sunday only), 474 and 475 (all three from Bluewater) and 489 (Sunday only) (from Gravesend). The buses stop at Longfield St. Marys Way, Longfield Brickfields Farm and/or Longfield Railway Station. All stops are 5-10 minute walk from the venue. Some services may stop at Longfield Academy itself. There are no Sunday services for the 423, 474 and 475 routes.
     
    There is a sizeable free on-site car park, full disabled access (including toilets), a large refreshment area (300+ seats) and an extensive range of hot and cold food and drinks at reasonable prices.

    Barton Peveril College is about 1½ miles from M3 Junction 13 or M27 Junction 5 and is will be AA-signed from soon after both junctions. If travelling by car please use sat nav SO50 5BX as the college postcode will take you to the back entrance! Free parking. Eastleigh and Southampton Airport Parkway stations are both about a 25 minute walk or a short bus/taxi ride away. There will be a free heritage bus service available from both stations, the timetable is on our website.       Scotland’s biggest Model Railway exhibition returns for its 54th year.
      The event returns to the SEC venue in Glasgow, Grant Thomson from Clyde 1 and special guests will open the show at  10am on Friday 21st Feb
      Model Rail Scotland – 2020 will take place on Friday 21st , Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd February at Hall 3 of the Scottish Event Campus Glasgow and bring together over 50 model railway layouts representing a wide range scales and eras.
      The exhibition is ‘supported’ by Hornby Hobbies, Bachmann Europe, Peco and Squires Tools who will be present to  show their latest range of products in addition a diverse range of trade exhibitors are participating accompanied by society and railway interest groups which will provide an excellent selection of exhibits for both the experienced and inexperienced in the hobby.
       
      A large number of layouts will be making either their first ever appearance at Model Rail Scotland or visiting a Scottish exhibition for their first time.

      This is the 9th annual Ebor Group of Railway Modellers show. It is held in aid of York Against Cancer and is sponsored by Monk Bar Model shop. The charity supports the show by providing refreshments. We pride ourselves on offering a small, intimate show, where we display layouts from the club, members and local friends. As well as Monk Bar Model shop we are also joined by other traders and demonstrators.
       
      It is held in Heworth Church Hall, Melrosegate, York, YO31 0RL. Open 10 'til 5 on Saturday and 10 'til 4 on Sunday. £4 Adult, £1 Child
       
      There will be seven layouts:

      RISEX 2020 Model Railway Exhibition

      The whole of the Community Centre in Princes Risborough is taken over one day in the spring each year. Allowing local modellers to display their layouts and model making.
       
      10 layouts, trade support and modeling demonstrations

      The Lincoln & District MRC will again be using the Lady Eastwood Pavilion, Newark Showground NG24 2NY for our General Exhibition in 2020. The Showground has plenty of free parking, is disabled friendly and has a cafe on site for drinks & food.
       
      The dates are Saturday 29th February & Sunday 1st March.
       
      £8 Adult
      £4 Child
      £20 Family Ticket (2 Adults & up to 4 Children).
       
      The venue is easily accessible from the A1, A17, A46 and A617.
      As usual there will be a free vintage bus running between the Newark Showground and both Newark Northgate and Castle railway stations whihc have good train connections with L.N.E.R. and E.M.R. See the website for the bus timetable.  www.ladmrc.co.uk

      There will be a good variety of layouts of most scales and gauges, traders, demonstrators and societies. We look forward to seeing you all again in 2020!
