    Sooo, today's successes: 4 more class 156 interiors painted. Today's failures: Still not managed to get the lights to work on my 155, nor have I found a suitable coupling that's not too long or short. Re-layed and painted some track, but no track rubber to clean and test it. Also spilt paint whilst doing it. Started painting a class 110 interior, the matt paint dried patchy and glossy. Burnt fingers on soldering iron. Fried a decoder AND an LED/lighting circuit. ...

      Haha, not quite, in theory all I needed to do was run a wire between cars to connect the lights. The micro connectors proved too fidddly, "I'll just install a spare decoder", I thought... Sounded like a ten minute job. As for the couplers, I've tried various ones, which seem too long or too close to negotiate reverse curves,...
