About Me

Presently a lapsed modeller. Modelled BR Blue as a youth in mid-1980s, mainly buying Joueff Class 40s and super detailing with ghastly white metal add ons like split headcode boxes.

Sold most of my stock off several years ago.

 

The advent of DCC sound and the stunning quality of new RTR models - plus the advent of middle age - has meant a rejuvenated interest. Now squirrelling away rolling stock for the near future. Happy to have a got one of the last Blue Pullmans without ghastly yellow ends.

 

Presently researching for my maiden 'proper' layout : Idridgehay on the branch from Duffield to Wirksworth in the Midland Railway era.
