  1. Ordered another item from Track-Shack's On-Line Shop yesterday at 13.21pm and the package arrived today (in spite of the snow in West Yorkshire) at 11.30am. First Class Quality Service from John once again. Dave
  2. Once again, order item just after lunch and it arrived just before lunch the next day. Can't ask for more.
  3. Ordered an item from Track-Shack at 2pm last Wednesday and the item arrived safely in West Yorkshire at 11am the next day. Exellent customer service and will definately use them again.
  4. Thanks for all the comments, back to the drawing board...
  5. Please correct me if I'm wrong here; According to Yeadon's Register, 60007 remained in post war Garter Blue until 27 September 1950 therefore, in theory, it could have pulled 'BR Liveried' Teak coaches while still in Garter Blue livery? Am I grasping at staws?
  6. I was attracted to the current BR Teak coaches due to the price at Locomotion. I suppose it would be feasable to re-brand them back to LNER livery using a suitable transfer set from Fox Transfers, or does this sound to easy to be true?
  7. Thanks for pointing this out, I would of course like to have the LNER liveried coaches. Thanks for the comment, I'm not familiar with the finer details of these coaches and not sure what the Beading is?
  8. Hi I am confused. Having just purchased a Hornby 70th Aniversary 'Sir Nigel Gresley' I would like to get some LNER Teak coaches to go with it. It seems Hornby produced quite a few differnt versions, all with different part numbers. I have seen the version that comes with the 'Flight of the Mallard' set, and they are horrible, too light in colour. I am thinking of getting the version that has the part numbers R4598, R4599, R4600 & R4601 as going by the pictures I've seen on the Interweb they look quite reasonable, but I have not found a local dealer who has these in to have a look at. Can anyone who might have them advise me on these please? Thanks, Dave.
  9. I need to paint my platform support walls to resemble concrete, as per the prototype. I came across Tamiya Textured Paint in light grey with the description that, when applied it looks like concrete. Has anyone here tried these textured paints and can comment on them?
  10. Personally, I would like to see more OO 1930s vehicles released, there seems to be a lack of choice when it comes to the 1930s. Plenty of generic Model T ford vans and lorries but very few home grown (British) commercial vehicles, other than buses.
  11. Hi Brian Many thanks for that, now I understand. Your website looks to be very useful as well. Thanks
  12. Thanks for the reply, so 5 turnouts not a problem. Could I also add 3 Gaugemaster powered tension lock uncoupling units as well, makeing 8 powered units from the one 18v AC output?
  13. Hi I am building a small end-to-end layout and will be using just one loco, a Bachmann GWR 57xx, and considering purchasing a Gaugeaster Combi controller. The layout has a loop off the main end-to-end branch line with three sidings off the loop, it will incorporate five turnouts. My question is; can I power five turnouts from the 1 x 18v A.C. 1 amp uncontrolled output? I understand that it would be best to incorporate a CDU between the controller and the points motors. (electrics are not my stong point).
