I don't think the dome is too bad even though it's the standard LMS "flat top" dome instead of the more elegant original Midland bell dome. The chimney, however, certainly looks tapered. Very odd.

Sculptamold is simply a plaster and paper fiber mix. I make my own using supplies from my local diy store. A large bag of plaster of paris and a small bale of paper fiber (it's sold as insulation) lasts me years and works out about a tenth of the cost of Sculptamold. I live in the US but I'm sure you will find similar products available in the UK. David

Hi Ben, This bullhead track really moves the needle in terms of realism of r-t-r track. How do you weather your track and what ballast are you using? It looks superb. David

How much of the web are you cutting to bend the points?

I have no specific Knowledge of a 4F with BR numbers and an LMS lettered tender but a have a video of a G2 with LMS clearly visible on the tender filmed in 1962!
