Hi Ben, Sorry to bother you, still not had a result from Mike re my faulty 5600 tank Can I suggest best and cheapest option is for you to replace it and I return the faulty one when I am in receipt of it. Reading between the lines I do not think you have the facilities to repair it.  Sorry to do this via the forum but its the only way I have got a response

  4. No he did not give me any advice other than to wait but its been two months now which seems a bit long and a request for a sit rep has not had a response.

  7. Does any one know how to get a response from Sonic models. I bought a GWR 5600 tank from them directly in August. It initially ran perfectly and I was amazed at the detail incorporated in the model; my father worked at the Caerphilly Works all his life and I have a soft spot for the class. When i again ran it in early November it failed to move, the motor ran but the loco did not. I have emailed Sonic models on their customer services and main email sites twice but apart from a terse response from Mr Hayle to the effect that they were too busy I have heard nothing.
