  1. For those who may be modeling in the late 50's to late 60's, the livery of the Ribble Cement Presflo wagons was just like the road tankers pictured in the links. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ribble+cement+lorries&sxsrf=APq-WBvOBGy-dpaGvElfoSUkZTuRdmR5ug:1645545563003&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiO0fn11pP2AhXMPsAKHZWZD2Y https://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Flive.staticflickr.com%2F4380%2F37129579830_dbe6afa377_b.jpg&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.flickr.com%2Fphotos%2Fedward_beck%2F37129579830&tbnid=rVq7XmVUieH7sM&vet=12ahUKEwjW4Nun2JP2AhUGR8AKHTWiAKYQMygFegQIARB2..i&docid=BST57BqxNRTSbM&w=967&h=598&itg=1&q=gilbraith tankers accrington&ved=2ahUKEwjW4Nun2JP2AhUGR8AKHTWiAKYQMygFegQIARB2 I can't remember if the roundel was the smaller or larger of the two shown when used on the rail wagons, I was only 10 years old at the time. The castle depicted on the roundel was to represent Clitheroe Castle.
  2. Many thanks Ian for posting a great bit of nostalgia. To visit Plashetts now, I will have to crack out the diving gear
