Hello Have you ever tried to create rivets with a your Silhouette Cameo/Portrait please? I would like to build a metallic bridge. Having the rivets created by the cutter would be for me a perfect finish. I just don't know if it is feasible at the HO scale with a Silhouette cutter? thanks for your advice. BR pbony

Hello in Nov 2016, would you recommend me to purchase a brand new Silhouette Cameo3 or a Portrait cutter please? I have noticed the Cameo allows up to 2mm thick material and larger cuts. Based on your experience, do you think it will be useful/worth to go for a Cameo3 just to create a couple of HO signals, 1 HO metallic bridge and some buildings? My second option would be to purchase a Portrait and a laser cutter. Here I am sure I will be able to cut very thin materials (paper, plasticard, Evergreen) and 5mm / 10mm foam board.
