  1. Hi Mikkel, many thanks for your notes and the various photos and links, which are all very useful. I’ll start to rough out a plan based on what you have provided here and your original post. I’ll try to track down the Wild Swan book too, but if you do come across the plans or have a moment to share the basic measurements that would be very kind indeed. I very much admire your work, by the way, and your often very original posts. Jonathan
  2. Dear Mikkel, I've just come across your blog and I am enjoying your work enormously - really inspiring. Could I ask, where did you get the plans for the Goods Shed at Speech House Road? I'd like to build something similar - I am just starting to scratch-build buildings and having a very small layout this goods shed would be perfect. I you can point me the right direction of any plans or photos I would be most grateful. My internet search didn't find anything. Many thanks, Jonathan
  3. @BokSteinMany thanks for your note. I am using Windows but I wouldn't say I am particularly savvy and as I rely on my computer for my work I'd sooner not risk messing anything up. I'll drop Roco a note and see if there is a dealer I can send or take the Z21 and/or MulitMAUS into. Thanks again and to @JohnDMJ too.
  4. Thank you, both. So, I would need a cable from the Z21 LAN port to the PC. Presumably this could go from the LAN to a USB port on the PC?
  5. I'm fairly news to DCC so I hope these questions won't be too basic. I have a Roco Z21Start DCC control set with a MultiMAUS handset. It is a few years old and I think the firmware needs updating as I can only access Function buttons F1 to F19 but have Function options on my newly converted locomotives up to F29. I am confused about whether I need to update the firmware on the Z21 unit or the MultiMAUS handset or both. Also, as I am not using a WiFi router how should I connect the Z21 unit or/and the MultiMAUS handset to my PC to allow me to access the Roco software? Would it be easier to get a Roco dealer to do this, and if so any recommendations? Apologies for so many questions. Thanks in advance for any answers.
