  1. Dave,

(Just tried to PM you, but apparently you can't receive pms anymore)

I was wondering if you might know of any rigid tender frame USA lcoos that might look good on the Santa Fe project. So far I've found this CB&G class N1, a almost LNER looking engine.

    Thank you,

There are a lot of early locomotives that would look right at home out there but a three-axle rigid-frame tender might be difficult. They were never popular here; probably due to the loco's larger loading gauge which would require more fuel to be hauled; not to mention the longer distances between stations/fueling points.

PS: I looked at my profile but did not see anything about PM settings.

  4. Hi,

On that Maldon track; it does come in 2 rail or three. It uses PECO bullhead code 200 rail. This rail is usually used be PECO in their line of SM 32 track which is 2 rail also.

I went to their website and saw that. It is some nice-looking track.

I have read most (maybe all?) of the series; they are quite good, especially if read in chronological order as one can follow Sharpe's military progress throughout his career. BTW I think that is Harper leading the file with Sharpe on the right "checking their six". :jester:

Hmmm, a thought just occurred: take the truck to Australia and see if it curves to the left. :yahoo_mini:

Beer??? My kind of delivery! :jester:

Hmmm, I noticed (just before I hit the "post" button) that the truck is a wind-up, nice. How does it steer, or does it follow a set course depending on the angle of the front wheels?

As long as the beer is not the one one the right, it is the absolute worst brew that I have ever had. I think they dove down on the FITZ and pumped the bilges:bad::

Instead of beer, this wine would be very appropriate:
