  1. Same sort of thing happen to me about 10 years ago. Beware! It sits in the middle of my garage, and is played with on occasion.
  2. I went to the Nailsea Show yesterday and Moors View was there. It might be worth you getting in touch with them.
  3. Somewhere deep in the recesses of my mind I recall this layout at Central Hall. I think I recall best the BR Standard 2-6-2 tank hauling the 3 suburban coaches. Be fair - it was over 60 years ago! I'm pleased that this pioneer is having new life breathed into it, it does deserve it.Maybe one day it will be exhibited again.
  4. I have missed your updates. Glad you are back
  5. I've really just fallen on this and it is causing me to change my ideas on building Rueun in N 1:150th scale. Thank You especially for the Fiddle Yard.
  6. RhB on N gauge. (Near enough) So I have coming one wish which is the ABB liveried Allegra unit. However what I would really like are some of the RhB log carriers and the unit carriers along with some 20 foot tank ISO containers for the existing well wagons. Thinking about it any new wagons would be welcome!! Mr Kato has been silent on new moulds for the RhB this yearso here's hoping!
  7. At TrainTrax's price I'll get mine in Europe thank you. I did get the last two from Keith but I'm not paying another £29 on a locomotive that is a UK £88 model redecorated. A GREAT oppotunity for good vynil sides here I think.
  8. Nice piccys Gordon. Thanks for sharing them.
  9. I do so enjoy watching this grow. I'm thinking perhaps I should do something similar with my Japanese Enoshima Railway layout?
  10. EVERBODY is disappointed in B&Q ply, ready bowed or straight! The best thing to do is generate a cutting list for an 8x4 sheet and get in touch with Avon Ply near Bath who will quote, cut and have it delivered. My understanding is they now they can cut curves - intensionally!
  11. Hello MrTea, I love Revell paints, second only to Rustolium sprays, so I am appreciative of that. Of course I'll post photos but not quite yet - a coat of Halfords primer first I think. Keep Safe, Mike B.
  12. Thank you for that MrTea. I just bought a copy on eBay! That gives me all of 3 books on the RhB and its surroundings.
  13. What is a good starting point for a typical fresh out of the works log carrier? Humbrol, Revell or maybe Halfords? Thanks in Advance
  14. The same year doing the GEX before it got the Greenhouse Effect my favourite colour scheme for a Ge4/4-III.
  15. It's funny that the brake dust colour is the same in the UK as in Switzerland. Here we have a couple of 4 wheeled vans at Arosa in 2003. Keep Safe.
