  3. Very nice another use for Big Big ends, I am going to use them for a couple of 309's when I get the chance, just one thing though mate thin the sides of the plastic down in the windows as they equate to 1 foot thick pillars

Martin on watery lane I actually fell quite lucky and got the lift out section made in steel, the bit that stays out al year is stainless and the rest of it mild steel, with phenolic ply on the top. mine has moved but this is due to the frost actually settling the wall so I have to fettle it back in.
  11. Hi Mate , I have the same problem as Lancer has for some unknown reason I have missed the updates on your layout as well. I like the 33 they are V Smart. the garden is looking good as well mate. how long before you have something running. I to have had a few health issues which have effectively banned me from the back garden at the moment, however I hope to be hitting the railway asap theis weekend 'hopefully' wife permitting . lol

  15. ohhh is that what they were used for. I thought it was for dead weights for towing, not dead weights to hold track in place. well I live and learn.
  16. it always struck me as a very unusual mix of locomotives the RTC took in, why didn't they use the same type as the spares they would have to keep would have been less.

  18. Martin I didn't realise they had Electrickery when you were 10 I thought you still used candles and a winding key said ducking behind Phill, Rob, Ross and Marsa
