  1. Thanks for the heads up. I’m 3D printing most of my buildings. The station building is loosely based on Ballachulish with the bell cast roof detail, ratherthan a replica Really enjoyed your pics. Big fan of Kylesku and the Mound.
  2. I’m currently building a 00 gauge layout Portnachulish, a fictitious branch terminus on the Callander and Oban railway had it survived into the 1970s. I’m 3D resin printing the signals using upper quadrant semaphores. I’ve settled on the start signals but I’d like some advice on the home signal please. I propose to position it at the red x on the photo. There would be 4 road options. The yellow lines show the route into the arrivals platform 1. There’s also the route into the engine shed headshunt/auxiliary siding (far left); departure platform 2; and goods yard (far right). I’m unsure if I need a split with 3 posts or 4. I’m thinking something similar to Bo’ness which is 3 posts with the appropriate calling on signals for shunting. Can anyone shed any light on how such a junction would be signalled with semaphores please? Many thanks, Derek.
  3. Portnachulish station building 3D printed, painted and weathered. Fictitious terminus had there been an eastwards extension of the line from Ballachulish further along Loch Leven.
