I just find the rebuild really interesting and you're doing a top job of it.
First came in contact with 26's (and 27's) in the late 70's when I first went to Scotland and up to the far North. Only recently went to John O Groats and popped into Thurso to relive some memories.

WOW!. That is superb Chris. I really like the gear drive, very ingenious. I'm happy with how mine works but it did mean sacrificing the floor of the cab. I'm guessing you turned the valve and chimney out of bar as you mentioned using the 3D parts as casting masters.

I’m currently bending and forming some thin zinc for a roof and I thought that was difficult 😀
