  1. Absolutely awesome job these, got to be the ultimate model class 55. Can't wait to get my Rails white cabbed Deltic 15. One question though, why do they all seem to have full red vacuum pipes? It's an easy fix with a bit of black paint but just curious?🤔
  2. Does anyone know if a set ever ran with a black fronted dts at one end and a yellow fronted dts at the rear
  3. So been intouch with Hornby over the past couple of days about my droopy r3498 pantograph and they agree there is a fault. 2 options, do an Amazon exchange (it was bought on Amazon, supplied by Gaugemaster) not to keen on that as they may have already sold out, so probably will go with option 2 of waiting for Hornby to get their supply of spare pans and get a working replacement sent out to for me to repair. Still waiting on a response from Hornby about them definitely getting said spares!!
  4. Yes, easy enough to unclip and the bottom half raises no problem, just can't get the top section to stay up. I can lift the top section up then it just flops back down!
  5. Received most of mine today including ndm 49004, has anybody else had trouble getting the pantograph to rise
  6. Id just like to say a big thank you to Mick,Dave and the team at Crewe Heritage Centre for a thoroughly enjoyable day out, well worth the return trip down from Scotland, you guys are obviously really passionate about the project and have a real eye for detail, just make sure you get the tartan seats right!!
