Robin Brasher
Watched it again last night on BBC 4 at 22:00. BBC 4 filmed the Hornby and Hornby Dublo sequences at a Hornby Railway Collectors' Association meeting at Broadstone Methodist Church Hall. The month before our chairman told us only to bring Hornby and Hornby Dublo items. I was very pleased to see myself in the background wearing a pink shirt. I was also pleased to see Chris Littledale with his layout at the Brighton Toy Museum as I knew him when I lived in Worthing. I found it a very cheerful programme which covered the history of model railways from Bassett Lowke days to the Tri-ang train sets which brought model railways within reach of people with modest incomes. I also liked the French railway and the talk from the lady about the psychology of model railways.
