Marsh wagon Hornby sells and wondering if anyone had any knowledge of the Blue Pennant stone quarry owned by this concern, if indeed it is based on a genuine Welsh company and is not the fancy of some graphic artist? guvner.d Posted April 15 Share Posted April 15 just saw this topic. E Marsh was an actual person and a business concern. It was situated alongside the Western Valley line between Crosskeys and Pontywaun. According to R. A. Cooke's Track Layout Diagrams Section 40 Western Valleys there was a siding loop off the main line. This was in operation between 1909 and 1936.
