stock_2007
Sorry if I've asked this before or if I'm asking in the wrong place, but I'm detailing a number of Parkside coal/mineral wagons the photos I'm using show some with a yellow triangle on the side I should know this but for the life of me I can not remember what its for. So a little help please.
RMweb Premium Neil Posted June 7, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 7, 2018 Denotes 24.5T capacity.
Departmental203
The 21ton coal wagons (MDO type) were visually similar to the 24.5 ton coal wagons (MEO), which is why these yellow triangles were applied to the 24.5 tonners. The 24.5 tonne wagons are taller than their 21 ton counterparts. Here is a good website for images of these wagons in 4mm: http://www.emgauge70s.co.uk/project_minerals.html Hope you found this helpful Jules Edited June 7, 2018 by Departmental203
