Bomag
I am having a few days in Dublin near to Kingsbridge Station and managed to be in Limerick for the 16:55 Ballybrophy train. It was a bus - I take it from some of the comments from locals that this is not uncommon. Have IR caught the GB affliction of not having enough trains/drivers?

When we were on our way to Castleconnell on Friday 18th November, the 16.55 off Limerick was shown as a bus, so we caught the route 323 bus from the bus station instead, as it fitted better with our timings.. At least when we returned to Dublin a few days later, the 06.50 from Castleconnell to Ballybrophy was indeed a train.
