mswjr
Can anyone help with this, I am building LINDA in original Penrhyn condition, The paint on Charles looks a little blueish and not completely black, So does anyone know if they are just black when built, or can anyone point me to some info on this, I am struggling to find anything on the paint colours of the lining as well. RMweb Gold Happy Hippo Posted March 25, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 25, 2019 According to the livery section in JIC Boyd's book on the Penrhyn Quarry Railway, the mainline locos were glossy black. The lining from 1890 would have been: Overall black with lining of chocolate brown as the outer line and scarlet as the inner line.
