MGR Hooper!
Hey, Does anyone have/use Kadee 520 and Kadee 522 Code 110 wheelsets? I wanted to use them for my custom 3D printed and scratchbuilt wagons and coaches and just wanted to know what the width of these from pin-point to pin-point? I have ordered some but it's been quite a while and nothing has turned up, I do need to adjust the CAD files for my bogies so that they can be 3D printed ASAP. RMweb Premium kevinlms Posted August 15, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 15, 2019 Kadee 522 wheelset info is here. The Kadee website is horrible to work your way through, largely because they use thousands of an inch (US style), rather than the metric system. https://www.kadee.com/ho-scale-trucks-and-wheels-c-272_230_232/522-code-110-36in-diameter-smooth-wheelsets-p-383.htm https://www.kadee.com/documents/truck_and_wheel.pdf I haven't bought any for many years, but from memory the axles are very close to 26mm in length. Il Grifone
The American standard is 1 inch - 25.4mm - over pin-points (all imperial over the pond!). FIghting through their website (masses of tiny print!), I could find no reference to the actual length, but I can see no reason for them to depart from the standard.
